Nora was questioned in the case following the allegations that Sukesh Chandrasekhar had given him a luxury car and other gifts. But the actress has given a statement in Peelees that Sukesh had offered a car and later refused it. But Sukesh states that he gave the car directly to Nora.

Sukesh was the partner of Malayalam actress and model Leena Maria Paul. A group consisting of Leena duped former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Singh's wife Athi Singh and extorted 200 crores. The Delhi Police had charged Leena and Sukash with criminal conspiracy, cheating and extortion. Earlier, actress Jacqueline Fernandez was also questioned in the case. The investigation team had earlier found that there were financial transactions between Chandrasekhar and Jacqueline.
Delhi Police had earlier informed that Sukesh Chandrasekhar had spent crores to pay bribes in Tihar Jail. All this money was spent on using mobile phones in prison and living alone in a special cell. Through this, the police found that the accused was able to commit financial fraud of crores despite being in jail. The jail officials who helped Sukesh in jail were also arrested.
